Jackie’s Poems & Books

Why I’m also a Writer…

Writing captures the expression of light through description, thought and feeling.

It represents the light inside of us effectively creating an imaginary picture or photograph in the mind. Of our past experiences. Of our journeys. Of our ability to witness the life and lives around us. As with photography, i write to share this light, in the hope that one day my own experiences and stories might be useful for others.

If you are a Literary Agent or a Publisher and would be interested in reading my work, please do get in touch! I would love to hear from you!

Love and Wonder

Oh beautiful bird of Light
Heading towards the sun,
O’er that I may follow thee
Until thy work is done.
A witness to your Glory
I walk this peaceful path,
Where light restores the soul
In radiant aftermath.
Looking up in Wonder
Upon these joy filled days,
At all that glows around me
Blessed in Natures blaze.
I know that all is Love
Whether Particle or Wave,
Ever all around us
The gift, the heavens gave.

The Twin Flame

At the Edge of the World,
Where the sea roars & rages to the shore
I heard you there behind me.
Speaking of how you could watch the ups and downs of its form for hours
Unknowing that my soul was with yours
In that moment thinking the same.
Always the same.
Lives Reflecting.
Knowing but Not Knowing.
Always. My Twin Flame.

The Irises

Opening them…
Light finds me looking into you
Carrying me into the depths of your open ocean blue
Irises that swirl interminably
Pulling me into the pattern and rhythm of you and only you…
Holding me fixed in your gaze
Unafraid of years and days
As we finally meet again…
In one united soul.
